The current family

So, here is a picture of me with the kids at the Ottawa Tulip Festival last month. We take pictures of the kids every year in front of the tulips for their scrapbook albums. I was looking through our blog and wanted to add some personal pictures with colour, so here we are. Next year there will be a new family member in the picture with us, I can't wait!!!

Soooo close....

Well, we missed the cut-off by 2 days. As you can see they matched families with a Log In Date of Nov. 7, 2005 and we are Nov. 9th. So, I think it is safe for us to say, we are next. We have held off on setting up the crib, because this past month there was a wide range of ages of children that were matched, some were boys and some were girls that could skip the crib and go right into a bed. I think we will wait until we get our referral for changing the rooms around. Some of the baby names that we like are Jaime, Jessica and Eden. We will likely keep one of her chinese names as her middle name and she will have our last name. We are getting really excited and can't wait for June to end. I know this month will fly by with school finishing in 2 1/2 weeks, soccer for all the kids and summer parties. So July will soon be upon us and we should get the call.
